A former Victorian Gentleman’s residence, with timber features, this building stands in its own secluded wooded riverside grounds with ample social space, in the centre of a quiet village, next to the banks of the unfenced River Exe and in the heart of the Exmoor National Park and the UK’s Dark Sky Reserve.

Exemead House – Exmoor on your doorstep

The main entrance is at the front of property. To the rear there is access to a large garden.
The car park at the front of the property offers ample parking.

Dining room/lounge

Exemead House offers a lovely lounge for relaxed evenings and a large dining room, allowing plenty of space to share and create family memories.  Lovely large lawn space leading to the river allows you to delight in the pleasure of indoor/outdoor living

Kitchen

The ground floor kitchen contains three domestic sized cookers, four hobs, two fridges, one freezer, two microwaves, kettles and a range of kitchen utensils crockery and cutlery for 19 people.

Tea towels, bin bags and washing up liquid are provided.
Breakfast and all meals are served daily across the road at The Exmoor White Horse Inn

Bedrooms

4 first floor En-suite rooms: 1 x 3 (incl Double Bed and 1 x Single and kitchenette), 1 x 2 (Double Bed)  1 x 6 (Bunk Beds)  and 1 x 3 (Double Bed and 1 x Single) – sleeping max total of 14 people.  Please note that the bed configuration cannot be altered.

All bed linen is provided, including towels and complimentary toiletries.

Here at Exemead House we have plenty of fun and exciting activities, all just a stones throw away.

We can provide pursuits for inspiration, perspiration, exhilaration, education & conservation. Loved by serious hikers, ramblers, history buffs, nature lovers, cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, photographers, poets, artists, foodies & fly-fishers.
