Excellent , Lovely cottage with scenic views. Very peaceful and comfortable . Super great, so cozy and homely, you wake up to the sound of birds singing through the forest, the place is awesome. The cottage has everything.

Exemead house is a lovely place for a get-together with a generous garden and social spaces. The kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms are comfortable.

Great location, two pubs, park and shop in walking distance from the house and a lovely garden.

Great house for our extended family of 14 (8 adults and 6 children) Bunk room was great for the kids. All rooms were comfortable, well maintained and had ensuites which was ideal. Huge, well equipped kitchen and plenty of communal space with range of games which we made good use of.  Outside space was perfect for us and we used the play equipment to make our own fun and an assault course! Loved the quirky decor and feel of the house. 100% recommended. We loved every second of our stay!

Absolutely loved the house, plenty and I mean plenty of room in each room, 2nd to none for cleanliness, ok Wednesday 8th march we had snow and being so warm and cosy in the house was something else. ONE of the best houses we rented for long time, and we have been renting holiday cottages for years. Every thing about the house we loved. 5*****. Dave & Yvonne & the rest of our gang. 

The house is well furnished and comfortable. Lots of interesting touches and good accommodation – plenty of space for a family group. The garden is generous and great for children. They loved the stream at the bottom of the garden – under supervision! Great for each room to have an en suite bathroom and TV. Nice and warm in February! Catering from the hotel opposite very handy. Sunday Carvery, excellent. Lots of walks nearby and [plenty to do farther afield. Made an excellent break

Excellent stay and both Peter and Linda was very helpful. We had a good family and stay and its nice little village with lots of things to do. Honestly, it was above our expectations. Thanks Peter and Lindafor the hospitality.

This lovely home more than met all our needs for a large family gathering with dogs. The owners were also flexible and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

The house was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of room for all the kids to run around and play with the family room and table football a real hit. A lovely warm cosy lounge for the adults in the eve. The bedrooms were spacious and the garden was beautiful. Great to have places to eat/drink across the road and a lovely park for the kids.

Good, adequate, accommodation, nicely furnished for a large family in the center of a real village within Exmoor National Park with an excellent large garden and play facilities.

Large Hunt lodge full of charm.

This was a great house for a big family holiday. The kitchen was outstanding in its equipment and facilities. The location could not be better for enjoying the Exmoor National Park. We all had a wonderful week here. The smart dining room was perfect for our murder mystery party and if you take your chromecast the TV in the lounge is great for quizzes, photos and zoom activities. Four ensuite bathrooms gave privacy for all. 

This was a lovely house, the outside space was perfect for us, the little ones ran around and played in the fairy house whilst the older ones played badminton and chilled in the garden. En-suite bathrooms for each room were appreciated , the rooms were comfortable giving plenty of space to spread out. Thoughtful touches such as the play tent and table football added to the experience. Friendly places to eat and drink in the village were a bonus, location perfect, I would highly recommend.

Our first holiday in Exmoor and Exmead House and Exford did not disappoint. The house is impressively large and well equipped throughout and the owners were lovely. The grounds are equally vast and well maintained. We look forward to returning.

The house and gardens are wonderful and we had a fabulous family holiday. Loads to explore in the area and a superb space to enjoy to just hang around the house.

Absolutely fantastic stay, my party had a great time in this beautiful countryside retreat! The house was amazing & the owners were lovely, really going out of their way to help us with anything we needed. There was even a box of chocs welcome scones which was a lovely touch! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend stay in a lovely location. Thanks guys! 

The cottage was lovely. The accommodation was beautifully clean and comfortable and a welcome gift was left by the owners which was a lovely thought. The location was great, less than a 15 minute drive and we were on exmoor.

We had a lovely stay here, the place exceeded our expectations and the photos don’t do it justice. The garden is beautiful with a stream at the bottom. The house was clean, and ideally located for nice walks with a pub very close. Thanks very much!
